This was an awesome experience of food and atmosphere! The two bottles of wine, swordfish to die for and the attentiveness of the staff made it special. We have heard great things about Long Grain and our first visit was on January 7th, 2022 and we were not disappointed. My wife had the Pad Thai and I had a Spicy Night Market Soup. I like spicy, but this one was very spicy. Overall we will try it again. Click here for more information

Set against a picturesque harbor backdrop on Spruce Head Island, McLoons' family-owned shack may be a little out of the way for most, but their fresh lobsters and perfect rolls always make up for it. Barren's Distillery and Restaurant opened in its new home on Camden Harbor in the summer of 2022. Our space features indoor and outdoor dining, both offering spectacular views of the working waterfront. We also have a gift shop on site, featuring Blue Barren Distillery spirits and apparel.

We are a small distillery producing spirits in extremely limited quantities, which allows us to use the very best of Maine’s local produce in each batch. In many cases, we know the field, forest or greenhouse that is the source of our ingredients. Currently offering Eau de Vie, Gin, Rum, and Vodka by the bottle. Eau de Vie, French for “water of life,” is the term applied to brandies made from fruits other than grapes. As far as we know, ours is the only spirit in the world made from nothing but wild Maine blueberries. Our spirits can be purchased at select retail locations around the state of Maine and in restaurants along the coast from Camden to Portland
